VicDrift – “Run the Wall” – Calder Practice – 2014

We’re back in the world of drifting! ZeroClearance has become official VicDrift Media, with ZC taking over the official video’s which will cover all the practice days that happen throughout 2014 !

Saturday marked the first day of the two day weekend at Calder Park, with the VicDrift Championship Round 1 to kick off the on the Sunday morning, most of the drivers used Saturday to get some much needed practice and technical work in, making sure their cars were up to scratch and ready to compete the next day. Being there all day, we were blessed with a gorgeous day, which is a sight for sore eyes at the Calder Park racetrack as many people may know, every time in the past, the weather hasn’t been on our side, so to be in a t shirt and shorts throughout the day was a nice change.

A lot of the drivers that hit the track Saturday we had seen once, or many times before. So it was a good opportunity to see what we at ZC have missed out on through our much regretted absence of 2013. All of the drivers that we remember at the start of last year and 2012 were still hard a work mastering their skill set and frying tires, which is what everyone loves to see.

If you are a fan of the sport, the Calder Park weekend is where you would have spent your entire weekend, from the moment that first car entered the track, it was absolute mayhem.

And that’s what we missed the most!
