“Run the Wall #2” – VicDrift Practice – Calder Park

Welcome to ZeroClearance!

We’re back again with another VicDrift Practice day at Calder Park. We’ve been busy with these days having attended every single one for the year, and will continue to do so for the rest of the drift season. We’ve seen it all this year, with a huge amount of new drivers hitting the track for the first time this year, a variety of talent, cars and weather conditions. It’s been a good ride and we’re prepared to see the year out, bringing the best coverage we possibly can. Not long ago, we released the raw album on our Facebook page, so if you’ve seen your photo on there and want it, let us know!

We arrived at Calder Park Raceway bright and early on Saturday morning, to see cars unloading and drivers briefing. But not long after, the first cars were hitting the track and the first sets of tires were bleeding white. We made our way around the the main sweeper where we sat for a few sessions in the morning, before moving across to the S section until the lunch break. All while uploading a few shots onto our Facebook for our ‘live coverage’. After lunch, we headed into the center of the drag stripe to get the drivers up close as they hit the apex of the sweeper. We do this for the photo’s and the video, so check it all out below!
